33 new cases confirmed in Punjab; total rises to 530
Punjab now has 530 confirmed cases of the corona virus Chief Minister Usman Buzdar told the media raising the provincial tally by 33 cases
China's Wuhan begins to lift its lock-down
The Chinese city of Wuhan, where the corona virus outbreak first emerged, began lifting a two-month lock down by restarting some metro services and reopening borders, allowing some semblance of normality to return and families to reunite.
Authorities took draconian measures to stop people from entering or leaving the industrial city of 11 million people in central China. Families were confined to their homes. Bus and taxi services were shut, and only essential stores were allowed to remain open.
